Finding Joy During Storms
J O Y

Do you struggle with Life?
Does it feel like you're stuck? You're not alone.
This page isn't for those who have it all together, who can approach life with a smile on their face and a bounce in their step. It's for the rest of us, those that are lonely and in pain.
I don't have a magic wand to fix everything. I wish I did. However, if you can identify with my world, know you aren't alone. Know the storms don't last forever; they just feel like it sometimes.
In the midst of the storm there is hope, there is love, and there is joy. Believe in yourself. Believe in hope.

Courses Offered:
Mental Illness and the Church - BeaDisciple
May 5th - 16th, 2025
"I just want to say that I have taken around 50 classes over the past 5 years, and I have never felt the opportunity to be as open about my own problems as much as I have in this class thus far. This reminds me that so many with mental illness are not comfortable discussing it, unless they feel they are in a safe environment. Thank you for creating that." ~ Student "Mental Illness and the Church"

"It takes a brave and special person to share their intimate struggles in a way that helps others. That is Jasmine.” ~ Student "Mental Illness and the Church"
“The book was an excellent resource as was the conversation. There were many different experiences shared, all of which were enlightening.” ~ Student "Mental Illness and the Church"

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass . . . It's about learning to dance in the rain
